Well-Being – Five Key Elements to the BEST Career
For Evaluation Only
Before you proclaim what your target career is out loud… what if you could have it all?!?!?!? Have
you ever imagined what life would be like if you really liked what did each day—achieving the goals
you set? What if you had people you trusted, could truly communicate with, and in turn you felt
good about yourself? Imagine having people in your life who love you. Better yet, gainful
employment, bills paid, and wealth, growing with confidence and you feel good about it! Have
you thought what it would be like to feel safe, really like where you live, and feel proud of the
people and community? Imagine wanting to do things out and about where you live. And last, but
not least, what if you have energy to get things done and you are healthy? WOULD YOU LIKE TO
HAVE IT ALL?
If you consciously work these five elements of well-being into your academic and work plan, it will
be gratifying and easy to engage in work. The checklist is first for you. Scoring is a work in progress,
by the end of this workbook you should be more aware of what you, employers, and training/
academic programs value.
