               What is forgiveness?

 Forgiveness is a decision you make to let go of resentment and thoughts of
                   revenge.
 You don’t have to agree with what happened or think that the person was
right, but it’s about letting the hurt go and not be the focus of your life.

 Forgiveness doesn't mean that you deny the other person's responsibility
for hurting you, and it doesn't minimize or justify the wrong. You can
forgive the person without excusing the act.

 Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life.
What are the effects of holding a grudge?

 You can bring that anger into other relationships
 You can get so wrapped up in the grudge that it becomes your main focus,
and you don’t see the good around you right now.

 You can become anxious or depressed.
               Forgiveness leads to:

                Less anxiety and stress

                Lower blood pressure
                Healthier relationships
