                 Lower risk of alcohol and drug abuse

               Forgive yourself too – when you feel guilt or shame, forgive yourself.


               How to forgive:

                 Acknowledge that you have to forgive
                 Give yourself a chance to grieve about the hurt

                 Deal with how you feel – life isn’t fair – work towards accepting


               Activity –
               Use the Parenting Worksheet to list your grudges, past hurts, and the people
               you’re currently angry with. Describe the situation, how it’s impacting you
               and what you can do to let the situation go and forgive.
