 Reference the exercise on page 3 of the pamphlet – How Do You Feel
About Education?

 Ask the parents what challenges they had with school.
 If they could do school over, what would they do different?

 Then ask about the education they want for their kids.
 Ask parents how many are continuing their own education.

For Moms

You make a difference!
 A mom’s influence is the main factor if kids stay in school and go on to
college
 Moms are the CEO’s “Chief Education Officers” of the family – taking a
proactive role in their child’s education.
 You are a role model for your kids. As you value education and pursue
education yourself, your kids tend to value education and follow your
example.
