Teaching Tips
 Contact local schools in your area for specific resources they offer to
parents. They may be able to give you brochures, handouts and
materials geared to your community with specific services and
assistance.
 Consider having a teacher from a local school come and be in the
session with you to answer specific questions parents might have
about school and learning. It would also give the school district an
opportunity to give a positive message about school to a group that
might need it.
