Look for positive coping strategies. The negative coping strategies may
temporarily reduce stress, but they cause more damage in the long run.

               Questions:

 Review the negative list of coping strategies. Why are the negative
                   strategies bad?

 Keep in mind that most of the negative strategies seek to escape from the
problem and avoid it. Generally, facing the issues head on is the best way to
eliminate the conflict, and thus the stress.

                    Take a walk (physical)
                    Talking to friends (social)

 Taking time to help others (community)

 Saving money, or spending it if that relieves the stress (financial)
 Learning a new hobby (purpose)

The more areas of your life with a strong sense of well-being, the more
successful and engaged you will be on the job.
