 Review the slide for ways parents can help support their troubled kids.

 Managing a child’s anger is one part of the puzzle. Managing your own
reactions and anger are even more important.
o If you’ve lost control of the situation and it feels like your kids are
running the household, you need to take charge.

o Set expectations and consequences – Behavior management plans
and family contracts are a way to make sure everyone knows what’s
expected and understand the consequences of breaking the rules,
and the rewards for following them.
